Tatsuru Arai

Arkhitek-ton, un live set audio-visivo realizzato seguendo un sistema algoritmico denominato Hyper Serial Music, creato dall’artista in base ai tre punti cardini della sua musica: struttura, complessità, rumore.

Il sistema, come una sorta di intelligenza artificiale, emula l’intelligenza umana, e la sua percezione del suono.

Tatsuru Arai (1981 – JP) compositore e sound-graphic programmer, diplomato in composizione presso il College of Music di Tokyo prosegue i suoi studi a Berlino in composizione, programmazione e multimedia-art presso l’ Hochshule für Music Hanns Eisler di Berlino.
Le sue opere sono state presentate in Germania, Svizzera, Danimarca, Francia, Svezia, Argentina, Messico e Giappone.
Il suo lavoro integra le composizioni classiche con l’utilizzo di nuove tecnologie, come Trans-Ages Music [link] , spinte dalla rappresentazione estetica dell’universo e la percezione umana del suono in strutture geometriche; una rappresentazione fisica della natura nella sua forma percettiva.
Questa concezione ha portato alla creazione al sistema algoritmico “Hyper Serial Music” [link] creato in base ai tre principi: Structural, Complex e Noisy. Il sistema, come una sorta di intelligenza artificiale, emula così l’intelligenza umana, e la sua percezione del suono.

This performance will be new work for Sound-Visual live set from new Algorithm system, “Hyper Serial Music”.

In the history of music technology, Hyper Serial Music will add innovation from classical serial music to new music technology, to the principle of Serialism three-point: “structural”, “complex” and “noisy”. Hyper-Serial-Music is the algorithm music generated by state-of-the-art technology such as Artificial Intelligence than by native human intelligence only.

Serial music died 60 years ago. But one of cells had survived in the algorithm rainforest. And so this cell will try to widen the capacity of human perception.
Where is going serial music now? Answer: 1728 HYPER SERIAL MUSIC, which has based on the original idea from the evolution of classical music (Twelve-tone, Serial music, New Complexity etc…).
This System will generate 1728(12x12x12) acoustic Patterns like, the Sounds Columms, that take about five minutes to generate 1728 acoustic Patterns, and will be derive different results each time. The Result of the Generation is visualized as Columms in the Cube in real-time, where is over Capacity of human perception.

 

Tatsuru Arai composer/sound-graphicprogrammer/ creator of Gesamtkunstwerk, 1981/Japan. Lives and works in Berlin,Germany 2003-2009 Bachelor and Diplom studies in composition with Akira Nishimura,Toshio Hosokawa and Sunao Isaji at Tokyo college of Music.2007 in composition-class with Bernhard Lang at Implus in Graz.2009-2013 MA-studies Compostion, Computer-programming and Multimedia-art with Wolfgang Heiniger at the Academy of Music “hanns Eisler” Berlin. His works are performed in Germany, UK, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, France, Argentina, Mexico, Japan etc. His main artistic Thema is to integrate from classical compositions to new technology, as „TRANS-AGES MUSIC“,and to present the fundamental physical nature of the universe in the form of perceptional experiences, that could say aesthetics of “geometric structure”. The human perception of sound, a physical phenomenon, influences human beings and the “geometric structure” is a fundamental pillar that allows us to understand the true nature of the universe. Creating a way to experience even a part of the nature of the universe through sound.
